The department of Media, Journalism and Film presents a new public affairs based news program. Ozarks News Journal is a thirty minute news show that reflects Missouri State University’s mission of public affairs by focusing on the issues most important to Southwest Missouri. The show is produced and staffed by advanced Missouri State students under the advisement of Assistant Professor/Executive Producer Kevin Swift. Ozarks News Journal will air Sundays at Noon on KOZK, broadcast channel 21, beginning October 4th and will broadcast at 11:00am and 11:00pm on Mediacom Connections, cable channel 22, beginning October 5th.
